For this project Integra realized the architectural and engineering design and the construction supervision of a major renovation for the new headquarters for the Salvation Army San Juan Corps. This Project is composed of the rehabilitation of two existing buildings and additions, and also will allocate community services such as religious, educational, community outreach and assist the surrounding areas in case of an emergency or disaster.
The project is located in Santurce’s Historic Zone, and although the buildings that were intervened are not registered under the Historic Monuments and Zones Program, the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture required minimum alterations to the main building’s façade to maintain the urban fabric along the Ponce de León Avenue.
