Our Electrical Engineering Department is currently in continuous growth and adapting to new trends in the industry with the use of sophisticated analysis tools with a highly technical approach and the utilization of 3D Modeling to provide cost-effective solutions for every challenge.

INTEGRA is currently looking for a mid-level Electrical Engineer to join our team in San Juan, PR. The successful candidate will take on an active role working directly with senior engineers in the designing of power and lighting electrical systems for multifamily and commercial buildings.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting Senior Engineers by performing specific engineering tasks
  • Design of medium and low-voltage distribution equipment
  • Design of lighting and electrical power systems for buildings
  • Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards (LUMA, PREPA, NEC, ANSI, NEMA, NFP)
  • Interact with other professionals, clients, and consultants.
  • Travel to client locations for meetings and site visits
  • Proficiency or the ability to learn AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and the ability to learn and use new software
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Make periodic field visits to sites as required.
  • Attends meetings and interacts with clients.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required, Power System concentration is preferred.
  • Preferred knowledge in design or construction of electrical power systems projects.
  • EIT or PE certifications.
  • Excellent technical and interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication skills (Spanish\English preferred).
  • Computer skills required, with ability to use Microsoft Office and AutoCAD in such applications as spreadsheets, databases, and engineering software.
  • Available to work island wide.
