JOB DESCRIPTION
INTEGRA is an Architecture and Engineering (A/E) firm headquartered in Puerto Rico. Our services, specialized and integrated, are grouped in three categories: A/E Design & Ideation, Infrastructure Planning & Design, and Construction Management & Consulting.
Integra is currently looking for Electrical Engineers and Civil Engineers– Entry Level to join our team in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The successful candidates will take an active role working directly with Integra Engineers, assisting in evaluating existing transmission and distribution lines and substations as well as assisting with utility line design projects. Both field (Island wide) and office work are considered. The main goal is to perform field inspections of the electrical facilities and document damaged assets to be repaired or replaced. The results of this detailed inspection then will be used to define the scope of restoration and upgrades of the electrical infrastructure to be designed to industry standards.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assisting Senior Engineers by performing specific engineering tasks.
· Assessment of the existing electrical facilities.
· Modeling, analyses, and planning level designs of transmission & distribution lines and substation facilities in an electric power system.
· Evaluate electrical power systems and design overhead and underground distribution circuits using current utility standards; Projects range from low voltage to high voltage designs
· Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards (LUMA, PREPA, NEC, ANSI, NEMA, NFP)
· Interact with other professionals, clients, and consultants.
· Travel to client locations for meetings and site visits.
· Proficiency or the ability to learn AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), PLS-Cadd and the ability to learn and use new software.
· Make periodic field visits to sites as required.
· Interact with other Engineers for the evaluation and design of electrical infrastructure improvements such as: transmission lines, distribution lines and power substations.
· Attend meetings and interact with clients.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or civil Engineering required, Power System concentration is preferred for the Electrical Engineer.
· Preferred knowledge in design or construction of electrical power systems projects.
· EIT or PE
· Excellent technical and interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication skills (Spanish\English preferred).
· Computer skills required, with ability to use Microsoft Office and AutoCAD in such applications as spreadsheets, databases, and engineering software.
