CENTRAL STATION

This building was conceived with the purpose of providing the Department of Labor and Human Resources of Puerto Rico with a new space to house their offices efficiently under a single building which in turn has a strong urban presence. The design is modern and avant-garde, which provides the Project an identity within the urban context and landscape of Hato Rey. In turn, the Project seeks to create an icon for the DLHR within the urban environment it settles. The building has 16 levels, eight of which are dedicated to parking spaces and eight for offices. The construction cost for this building is estimated at $23 million. This Project was awarded after winning a Request for proposal conducted by the Department of Labor. In addition, this building was designed to be LEED Silver Certified by the US Green Building Council.
