The Mazda of South Charlotte project consisted of designing a new building in a transitional style to reflect a contemporary design that is more in line with current branding. The new design honored the traditional architecture of century-old mill buildings, as required by the town of Pineville, North Carolina. The project included modern, open glass elements for the entries, vehicle display, and customer lounge, and maintained the use of traditional, industrial materials like exposed brick and steel.
