Modernization of Estér Feliciano Mendoza School

This school is comprised of various buildings located to create an interior courtyard that adjust to the site conditions. One of the buildings was partially demolished due to a differential settlement in the soil. In addition, there are three buildings out of the enclosed courtyard. The first is a one-level building, which was rehabilitated to located part of the special education program classrooms. The second building is located on the west side of the site and substitutes an existing two-level building, which its second floor was built with wood. The new building hosts the student cooperative and Music Classroom. The third building is a covered basketball court, which was rehabilitated and enclosed to serve as a shared multiuse facility for the surrounding community.

This Project is part of the Request for Proposal #9 of the Schools for the 21st Century Program of the PR Infrastructure Authority, in which Integra was selected along with Aireko Construction for performing a design-build and construction supervision.

• Architectural Design.
• Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Structural Engineering.
• Preparation of Construction Documents and Technical Specifications.
• Construction Supervision and Quality Control.
