PR-921

The project aims to rehabilitate a 4.1-kilometer section of PR-921, starting at its intersection with PR-198 and extending south to kilometer marker 4.1. This stretch of road primarily serves local residents and provides key connections to main roads such as PR-9922, PR-198, PR-914, and highway PR-30. Planned improvements include cold milling at variable depths between 2 and 4 inches, followed by a new pavement inlay across the entire roadway. To enhance road safety, 497 linear meters of new barrier devices will be installed. In addition, new pavement markings and raised reflective markers will be applied in compliance with MUTCD (2009) and PRHTA standards. Approximately 63% of traffic signs will be replaced, and upgrades will be made to signage, pavement markings, and traffic signals at intersections. These enhancements are designed to improve road safety, visibility, and overall traffic flow.
