This project, part of PRASA’s Capital Improvements Program and funded by FEMA and HUD’s CDBG-DR, aims to enhance treatment capacity through comprehensive engineering design services. The scope includes improvements to the raw wastewater inlet pipe, construction of a new equalization tank, refurbishment of SBR and aerobic digester units, electrical upgrades with emergency generators, new administrative and septic truck receiving areas, and demolition of obsolete components. Additional work includes improvements to grit removal units, sludge drying beds, chlorine contact chambers, and the installation of a photovoltaic power system. Integra will provide construction plans, technical specifications, and cost estimates, along with a basis of design report, land survey, geotechnical analysis, asbestos and lead studies, and a permitting process to meet PRASA’s construction procurement requirements.
