Biography

Jose J. Rivera, PE, is the Program Manager for Infrastructure and Hazard Mitigation at Integra Design Group, where he has worked for 3 years. With over 20 years of experience in the engineering field, he specializes in the planning, funding, permitting, design, procurement, and construction of water and wastewater engineering projects. Jose has successfully managed multiple projects exceeding $300 million per fiscal year, focusing on efficiency and resource optimization to meet key performance indicators and align with corporate strategic initiatives.

He holds a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Bradley University. Before joining Integra, Jose served as the Director of Infrastructure and Director of Engineering at the Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority (PRASA), and as the Director of the Water and Wastewater Group at Unipro Architects, Engineers, and Planners LLP. His extensive background in program management and engineering positions him as a key asset in advancing Integra’s infrastructure and hazard mitigation efforts.
