Biography

Lourdes Orona Jimenez is a Project Manager at Integra Design Group, PSC, specializing in disaster recovery projects for the housing sector. With a background in electrical engineering and project management, she has transitioned from designing electrical systems to overseeing complex reconstruction efforts. Since 2018, Lourdes has focused on public assistance claims in Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria, managing disaster recovery grants totaling $2.5 billion.

Lourdes holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus, and a master's degree in engineering management from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico. She is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design and Construction (LEED-AP BD+C). Committed to community improvement through efficient resource management, Lourdes applies her expertise in planning and executing post-disaster reconstruction projects, process optimization, and coordination with governmental and community entities. Outside of work, Lourdes enjoys exploring local and international gastronomy.
