Surveyor

NTEGRA is currently looking for a surveyor to join our team in San Juan, PR. The successful candidate will take on an active role working conducting surveys to determine land boundaries, property lines, and other important geographic information. Your role will involve using various surveying techniques and equipment to accurately measure and map the Earth’s surface.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Surveyor to join our team. As a Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to determine land boundaries, property lines, and other important geographic information. Your role will involve using various surveying techniques and equipment to accurately measure and map the Earth’s surface.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct surveys using precise measuring instruments such as total stations, GPS equipment, and levels.

Interpret land records, maps, and other documents to determine boundaries and property lines.

Utilize surveying software to process data, create maps, and generate reports.

Coordinate with engineers, architects, and construction professionals to provide surveying support for various projects.

Prepare survey reports, drawings, and legal descriptions for land use planning, property sales, and development projects.

Perform calculations to determine elevations, angles, distances, and areas.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding surveying practices and land use.

Maintain surveying equipment and tools, and ensure they are calibrated and in proper working condition.

Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders to discuss project requirements and findings.

Conduct field surveys in various weather conditions and terrain types, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.

Working with LIDAR UAV (drone) flights and processing and 3D scanning.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or related field.

Professional Surveyor license (preferred).

Proficiency in using surveying instruments and equipment.

Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

Familiarity with surveying software such as AutoCAD

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Knowledge of land surveying principles, techniques, and methodologies.
