Sonia Miranda Vega, PE, is the General Manager of Power Transmission & Distribution at Integra Design Group, where she has worked for the past 3 years. With over 33 years of experience, Sonia brings a wealth of expertise in project management, power system planning (generation, transmission, and distribution systems), budget management, and sales of engineering services and power equipment.

Sonia holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, magna cum laude, from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus. Her extensive project experience includes roles at Integra Design Group as a Program Manager, the Puerto Rico Energy Bureau (PREB) as a Special Assistant to the President, CPM International as a Senior Project Manager, Cobra Caribbean as the Director of Energy and Power, Eaton Engineering Service and Systems as a Power Systems Solutions Engineer, and the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREPA) in various positions, including Director of Planning and Environmental Protection, Principal Supervisor Engineer for Transmission and Distribution, and Distribution System Planning and Research Engineer.

Throughout her career, Sonia has established strong relationships with industrial, commercial, and governmental clients, demonstrating her commitment to excellence and collaboration in the power transmission and distribution industry.
