Civil Engineer (Charlotte)

Job brief

INTEGRA is currently looking for a licensed Civil Engineer to join our team in Charlotte, NC. The successful candidate will take on an active role in performing analysis and design of building sites and potable water and wastewater treatment facilities, among other projects. The candidate will be involved in the development of engineering design details, specifications, contract drawings, and estimates.

Our Civil Engineering Department is currently in continuous growth and adapting to new trends in the industry with the use of sophisticated analysis tools with a highly technical approach and the utilization of site reality capture and 3D Modeling to provide cost-effective solutions for every challenge.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Site design for buildings and industrial facilities
Design of water and wastewater facilities
Production of plan sheets for typical site design projects
Quantity takeoffs and preparation of estimate packages
Preparation of technical specifications, design documents, and technical reports
Coordinate aspects of design with other technical staff (architecture, structural, survey, etc.)
Interact with other professionals, clients, and consultants
Travel to client locations for meetings and site visits
Proficiency or ability to learn AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and other software as needed
Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Required); Master's degree (Preferred but not required)
Professional Engineer (PE) license is required, or demonstrable ability to obtain it within 6 months
Proficiency in Spanish and English (Optional)
