INTEGRA is currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in San Juan, PR. The successful candidate will take on an active role working directly with project managers and clients, for the design of plumbing, pumping and HVAC systems.
● Design and perform calculations for building mechanical systems
● Prepare plans, specifications, and construction estimates
● Review drawings and recommend necessary changes
● Attend meetings and interact with clients
● Other duties as assigned
● Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required
● Minimum of 2 years of experience designing mechanical systems (Buildings: HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and water & sewer pumping systems); 4–5+ years preferred
● EIT or PE certifications
● Excellent technical and interpersonal skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills (English/Spanish preferred)
● Computer skills required, including AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, and engineering software for spreadsheets and databases
